Overview

Welfare of Children and Youth Association (WCYA) is dedicated to addressing the disproportionate effects of climate change on children, youth, and marginalized communities through its Climate and Environmental Justice Program. This initiative emphasizes environmental stewardship, climate resilience, and advocacy for equitable policies. Recognizing the vital role of young people in combating the climate crisis, WCYA seeks to empower them as agents of change.

Environmental Education

We provide education on climate change, environmental conservation, and sustainability, equipping children, youth, and communities with the skills to protect the environment. Through workshops, school programs, and community initiatives, we raise awareness of climate change, promote resource conservation, and advocate for eco-friendly practices like recycling and sustainable agriculture. We also empower young leaders to drive local conservation efforts, including tree-planting, clean-ups, and advocacy.
